Anshu is a Mental Health Counseling Intern at Brooklyn College who approaches therapy from a humanistic, client-centered perspective. She practices integrative therapy, drawing from a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet the unique needs, goals, and experiences of each individual. Her priority is to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable showing up authentically.

Anshu views therapy as a collaborative process and believes meaningful growth happens when clients feel empowered to move at a pace that feels right for them. She brings curiosity, openness, and compassion to each session, working alongside clients as they explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences.

Committed to culturally responsive care, Anshu incorporates multicultural awareness into her work and recognizes the important role that culture, identity, and lived experiences play in shaping how people understand themselves and navigate the world. She believes every person has a unique story and approaches each client with empathy, respect, and genuine interest, fostering a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, authenticity, and understanding.
