I believe that creating a supportive therapeutic environment is essential for fostering connection and understanding of the unique experiences we navigate in our lives. As a Mental Health Counseling Intern, I am dedicated to offering a safe, judgment-free, and individualized space for every client that promotes open conversation and meaningful reflection. My mission is to provide a space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions, gaining insight, and developing tools that allow them to flourish. Together, we can work through challenges like anxiety, life transitions, and racial and cultural identity experiences.

My approach is culturally responsive, client-centered, and empowerment-based. I integrate Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, and mindfulness practices. I am especially passionate about working with young adults and people of color, and I openly invite clients of all backgrounds, ages, and identities. I am mindful of how cultural identity, systemic issues, and privilege impact our mental health and everyday experiences. Whether we’re examining thought patterns, cultivating self-compassion, or practicing mindfulness, my focus is on honoring each client’s story and creating a supportive space that encourages personal growth and resilience.
